This year is the start of my 31st year as a teacher. I attended Salem State University and I have my professional license in Business Education for grades 5-12.  I taught at the high school level for 17 years.  I am also EEC certified to be a Lead/Teacher for Infants/Toddlers and Lead Teacher Certified for Preschool/PreK as well as Director 1 & 2 certified.  I have taught in Early Childhood Education for 14 years.

I am excited to return to Saint Joseph School!  My husband and his four siblings all attended and graduated from SJS.   My son was in the first class to attend preschool at SJS.  All three of my children attended SJS and two finished through 8th grade.  My youngest attended until grade 5 because we moved at that time.  In my time here, I was Parent Club (at the time Mother’s Club) President twice and held a number of other positions on the board.  I was a Daisy, Brownie and Girl Scout Leader for 7 years.  I also assisted with Cub Scouts because my husband was the Scoutmaster.  I worked in the SJS preschool for 10 years and I was also the Director of Development for 2 years and the Co-Director of Development for 2 years.

I absolutely love teaching, but outside of school, I love taking classes, reading, spending time at Cape Cod and spending time with my family.
